The u3a is open to all who are not in full time employment or raising a family. There is no minimum age – although most members “not in full time employment” are over 50!
This year’s annual membership of Woking Area u3a is a special rate of £10 to mark our 30th anniversary and will run until August 2024. Most of our groups are charged at £2 a session.
A few groups continue through the summer but our full programme runs from 1st September to the following July but you can join the u3a, and enrol in most classes at any time.
If you have a particular skill and would be willing to pass this on to others, you could consider joining and forming a Group.

Joining Groups Current Members can apply to Group Leaders to join a group at any time, but acceptance depends on spaces being available. Group Leaders normally offer spaces on a first come, first served basis and may keep a waiting list if the group is full.
