Groups Programme

This page shows the variety of groups that we are running and how you can find out more about them. Here's how to use it:

  • 1) Scroll down the list to find a group that interests you.
  • 2) Click on the group’s name (in blue). You will see a brief description of how the group works.
  • 3) From there, click on the group email (in blue) if you want to contact the Group Leader and ask about availability or any further questions. Click the blue ‘Send your email’ button after you have filled in the boxes.
  • 4) Members only may be able to phone a Group Leader directly after using the website password to reach the Documents page in the Members’ Area to find the GL’s telephone number. Non-members cannot do this.

If you are not yet a member, you are allowed one free taster session. Thereafter, you must be a u3a member to take part in any interest group. Most groups charge a £1 per session fee, payable by the term or whole year. There are a few exceptions but the Group Leader will let you know.
If you are still unable to contact a group, or have a general question about Groups, email: Groups Co-ordinator or call our telephone answering service on 01483 323503 and someone will get back to you.

Anyone participating in u3a activities does so at their own risk.
