MOTO (Members on Their Own) – This is a friendship group for members who live alone or whose partners are too incapacitated to socialise.  We arrange lunches at local pubs and restaurants, cinema visits, BBQs and parties.  Recent events include Wimbledon, Churt Sculpture Park, Longleat Safari Park, horse racing at Kempton Park ten pin bowling at the Spectrum and a Duck tour of Windsor, and we continue to meet throughout the year – roughly every 2-3 weeks.    Access to the internet is required for this group.

Holiday Group – The holiday group has enjoyed short breaks to various destinations both at home and abroad by air and coach over the last 7 years.  Last year we visited Cardiff and Krakow and our next trip will be Yorkshire.  The intineraries include a wide range of interesting places, including history, art, and culture along with leisure activities such as boat and train rides, garden visits etc and offer something of interest to everyone.  New adventures are already being planned for 2020. 

Theatre Group – Theatre seats are arranged at a special group rate for a variety of plays, musical and dance shows mostly at Woking’s Victoria Theatre and sometimes London theatres, recently we went to the Royal Albert Hall.  

Day Outings – Trips to a variety of interesting places are organised by our social team during the year.  Members are offered the opportunity to apply for places on these outings via the autumn, spring and summer Newsletter mailings.  Information about outings also appears in the members’ section of our web site.
