In a friendly atmosphere, members listen to outside speakers and are encouraged to share their own experiences and presentations. Topics last year included radionucleides, antibodies, electronic warfare, innovation in engineering, the continuing need for oil and gas, fire detection and the size of the universe. The group also covers climate change and there is a regular update on astronomy and space travel.
