The aim is to provide a safe and supportive environment in which members can develop their public speaking skills, enabling them to speak effectively to audiences in a variety of different situations .
The precise content of each session, which will run on the third Thursday of each month, will depend on what members themselves are looking for, but we envisage participative meetings in which members share experiences, carry out exercises and practice their skills in a friendly and fun environment.
Members will be asked to do some homework in advance of each session e.g. preparing short readings or parts of speeches for use at the sessions.
