Stocks and Shares

This is a course for members who have a hankering to have a go at buying and selling shares on the stock exchange, but don’t really know how start. It simplifies and demystifies, through a step by approach, how it all works: working out which shares to buy and when to sell, using an online trading platform. Lots of online demonstrations will be used and how to use a Stocks and Shares ISA is included. The typical cost of trading online will be explored, so that if you do want to have a go for real after the course, you’ll have a pretty clear idea of the sort of cost involved.
